Linking CTRP & ClinicalTrials.gov would allow information about clinical trials to be more accessible to patients & physicians. Having 1 data entry point for both systems is far more efficient than currently having to enter the same data in both.

- action link to share trial via email,
- geolocation for closest open site
It is challenging to search for clinical trials for pediatric cancer patients with relapsed disease. Most returned results are for adults only. Searching by age and target mutation would enable precision pediatric oncology.

If we can retrieve small tissue samples and compare the mutated cells with the normal cells,by finding one specific difference the mutated cell has we could develop a cure that could target that one single special specific difference in the cell.
Actually cells are fed by veins we could use a polymerization inhibitor to kill the cells in a specific area by closing of the veins that feed the cell/cells.
It's also important to point out a vaccine is being worked on that produces killer T cells that attack mutated cells.

Fund online resource databases, like GeorgiaCancerInfo.org which downloads all clinical trial data for GA weekly from NCI's website & customizes searchable profiles via cancer type, MD & location. It has over 28,000 unique visitors per year.
M3 USA maintains a free, user-friendly clinical trials navigator for both clinicians & patients. The searchable, sortable database updates daily, & provides access to thousands of clinical trials in all specialties, the largest of which is oncology.
Most cancer physicians are using the Internet to obtain information about their options. A concerted approach utilizing grid computing, data mining, and machine learning could lead to a new revolution in utilizing clinical trial information.
